LOGAN — Investigators are working to determine the cause of a fire that damaged a business in Logan early Wednesday morning.

Crews responded to reports of smoke at Tai Pan Trading, located at 70 E. 400 North, just after 5 a.m., according to Logan Fire Chief Brad Hannig. They found heavy smoke in the back of the building and fire that had vented to the roof.

Firefighters contained the flames to the southeast corner of the building, which sustained water, smoke, and structural damage, Hannig said. No damage estimate was available.

Tai Pan Trading remains closed for business as investigators look for a cause. Adjacent buildings received limited to no damage and are open for business, Hannig said.

No injuries were reported.
