(KSL News) Tuition at Utah universities and colleges may be going up.

Last year, tuition at Utah schools jumped 10.5 percent. This year the U is considering an increase of four percent to seven percent. Students at Utah State could pay three percent to five percent more this fall.

According to the Deseret Morning News, the only school not expecting to increase tuition is the College of Eastern Utah.

Utah Valley State College is among those looking to increase tuition. Today the public is invited to attend a meeting to discuss the change.

The school is proposing a hike of two percent to 4.5 percent per semester. The meeting begins at noon on the UVSC campus.
