PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. says it received permission from China to do direct-sales marketing sales in Beijing and Shanghai.

That gives the Provo-based company a potential market of 37 million people.

Nu Skin is Utah's largest distributor of vitamins, minerals and skin care products.

It's closing 67 of its stores in China because of disappointing results.

Now Nu Skin is turning back to an emphasis on independent distributors to sell its goods, person to person.
