MURRAY — Criminal charges were filed Thursday against a woman who police say rammed four vehicles with the SUV she was driving — including two police cars — while fleeing officers.

Marty Hope Robb, 31, was charged Thursday in 3rd District Court with four counts of assault against a police officer, a second-degree felony; and failing to stop for police, a third-degree felony.

On Monday, agents from Adult Probation and Parole were looking for Pete Daniel Salazar, 36. a probation fugitive. They spotted him in the passenger seat of an SUV near 4850 S. State. Officers parked their vehicles behind the SUV to block it from leaving. Numerous officers then converged on the couple in the car and told them to get out.

"Instead, Robb put the transmission into reverse and backed into a police vehicle," according to charging documents, then drove forward, forcing two officers to get out of the way to avoid being hit.

"Robb continued driving forward, striking two more vehicles," the charges state.

At that point, Salazar got out of the SUV and ran. Officers were able to chase him down and had to use a Taser to bring him into custody, a police booking affidavit states.

Robb, still trying to get away, attempted to "drive between a building and the police vehicle" and ended up pushing the law enforcement vehicle into an officer, according to the charges. No serious injuries were reported.

An officer then attempted to break one of the passenger windows of the SUV, and ended up firing a less-lethal shotgun round at the vehicle.

"The glass shattered and appeared to startle Robb, but she still didn't stop. (The officer) fired another 'super-sock' round into the vehicle and Robb was stopped and taken into custody," the charges state.

Salazar was also charged on Thursday with possession of a weapon by a restricted person, a third-degree felony, for allegedly having a knife and collapsible baton; and failing to stop at the command of law enforcement, a class A misdemeanor.
