SALT LAKE CITY — Mitt Romney is facing yet another challenge as he tries to beat Rick Santorum to the GOP nomination: allegations of bribery by sandwich.

The Wisconsin Democratic Party announced Tuesday it is filing an election bribery complaint against Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan for allegedly bribing Waukesha voters with sandwiches.

"In the bribery video, Romney clearly exclaims, 'So bring your friends to the polls, get out and vote and if you want another sandwich, there are more back there,' gesturing to where he and Ryan were handing out the bribes of varying meats, dressings and bread choices the voters could choose from," the party said in a release.

Wisconsin election laws prohibit candidates from giving something of value to someone in an attempt to incite someone to vote.

Riding in elevators with cars

President Obama's campaign staff is having fun with recent reports of a renovation to Mitt Romney's California house that would install an elevator for cars.

The campaign staff labeled elevators at One Prudential Plaza — campaign headquarters — with signs saying "Jeep," "Cruze," "Cadillac #1," and "Cadillac #2," in apparent reference to Romney's comment once that Ann Romney owned "a couple of Cadillacs."

Hillary 2016?

Several Democrats have weighed in over recent weeks on a 2016 White House run for Hillary Clinton.

Former President Bill Clinton has said he would be happy regardless of Hillary Clinton's choice. The latest Democrat to weigh in was Rep. Nancy Pelosi of California. The former Speaker of the House said she would "love to see Secretary Clinton become the nominee for president in 2016" in response to a question about speculation over whether Clinton would replace Vice President Joe Biden on Pres. Obama's 2012 ticket.

"I don't think this ticket is going to change," Pelosi said in an interview Sunday. "I think the president and vice president have worked very well together. Joe Biden is a great guy, enjoys his own popularity in the country. I dont think that's going to happen. I do think, though, the secretary should entertain the thought of running in 2016."

Obama meets an old Crush

Pres. Obama with Nichelle Nichols

A picture of Pres. Obama spread like wildfire Tuesday night after Nichelle Nichols, who played Lieutenant Uhura on Star Trek, posted the picture on Twitter.

Obama and Nichols flashed the Vulcan salute together in the Oval Office in February, but the picture was not made public until Nichols' Tuesday tweet.

Nichols had tweeted on the day of her visit that she had heard Obama quoted as saying that he had had a crush on the actress when he was younger.

"I asked about that & he proudly confirmed it!" she said over Twitter.
