(KSL News) -- A man once reported missing in southern Utah is now under arrest in Ohio.
Bryan Butas was released from an Ohio VA hospital earlier this week. As he walked out the hospital doors, police arrested him.
Butas is facing felony insurance fraud charges in Utah. Washington County sheriff's deputies say Butas pretended to disappear while hiking near Leeds, only to be found days later in Australia.
He appeared in an Ohio court today for an extradition hearing. During the appearance Butas waived his extradition rights, which means he will come back to Utah to face charges in the next few weeks.
