Owned by United Concerts, it is designed to attract major groups, but to a more intimate atmosphere and attract concert goers from Utah, Nevada, Idaho and Wyoming.

The Depot will have a 1200 seat concert venue, VIP boxes, tiered seating, state of the art sound, lighting, staging, a private club, and will be smoke free

The VIP Club will be a club with limited memberships, inner lounge on third level with view up South Temple, and have preferred ticket access

The governor was there, along with other city representatives, the owners and invited guests for the announcement. The Depot opens January 2006.
