WEST HAVEN -- Weber County sheriff's deputies are investigating the possible molestation of a 3-year-old girl.

The girl and her mother were watching her brother play in a recreation league basketball game at Country View Elementary School at 4650 W. 4800 South in West Haven Tuesday night.

Around 9 p.m. the girl left a supervised group of youngsters she was playing with to use the bathroom. Her mother says she looked pale when she returned and said a "big man" had touched her buttocks and private parts in the restroom.

Deputies believe the man was a stranger to the girl and hope it was an isolated incident. They do not have a solid description of him and have no suspects in the case.

"There's only a handful of cameras, and there was nothing in that area. So, we have surveillance video to give us any information," said Weber County sheriff's Capt. Klint Anderson.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been at the game or heard of anything suspicious to call 801-778-6631.
