SALT LAKE CITY -- The nicer weather much of Utah has been experiencing may seem like spring is coming, but winter health problems still aren't quite over yet.
First the good news: Cases of the regular flu and swine flu have dropped dramatically in the past two months.
Deputy State Epidemiologist Rachel Herlihy said, "There's probably a good chance that most people are immune, or a lot of people are immune at this point."
Herlihy says many people got the vaccine or got the virus itself.
Still, flu season doesn't usually end until April, and there are pockets of communities where it could flare up again.
And then there are the other bugs going around. Herlihy said, "Some of the common ones right now would be RSV, metapneumo virus and also Rhinovirus."
Rest and exercise can help you stay healthy, she said, but the best defense is always good hand washing.
