SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A Salt Lake City officer is on administrative leave while authorities investigate rape allegations.
According to court documents, the 38-year-old officer is being questioned for reportedly forcing a woman to have sex with him after a traffic stop back in January. That's when court records say the woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
However, following the stop court documents say the 43-year-old woman claims the officer drove her to her Salt Lake City home and raped her.
Investigators have seized a blood sample and photograph of the officer's upper torso as evidence in the case.
