OREM, Utah (AP) -- South Utah County residents can now take an express commuter ride to Salt Lake City.

Beginning today, Utah Transit Authority will start a new express bus route for South Utah County.

The new route, 805, will start in Payson with stops in Spanish Fork and Springville before moving on to I-15 for a direct ride into downtown Salt Lake City.

U-T-A officials say the route was created to meet the high demand for commuters who live in South Utah County and commute to the city.
