WEST VALLEY CITY -- A Valentine's theme took us to West Valley City for this week's High 5. The honor goes to a woman who demonstrated great faith and sacrifice to keep her family intact during a difficult time.

Hope Eastman's husband, John Eastman, nominated her for the High 5. At the time he made the nomination, Hope was his fiancée and a single mother.

His nomination said, in part, "Hope is strong in her faith and dedicated to making sure her children have what they need before her own needs are taken care of."

John said, "She's been such a dedicated mom to her children and gone through a lot of effort in supporting her children. (She's) just a fantastic parent."

We asked Hope what kept her moving forward through some difficult times.

"A lot of it was just my faith and knowing the kids needed me," she said. "It was important to take care of them and show them that you can persevere through anything as long as you do it together and you're strong in your faith."

As part of the High 5, Hope received a bouquet of roses and tickets to Cirque Du Soleil at the E Center in May.
