(KSL News) -- The driver of an out of control truck crashed into the backyard of a residential home Thursday night.
Witnesses told police the truck driver was hanging out the door, -screaming, before he jumped out.

The truck jumped a curb, went between two homes and into a backyard near 2300 S. 2300 East.
Reva Servoss/Home Owner : "I suddenly saw something gray coming through the window...then this huge crash. My feeling was, oh my gosh, one of the helicopters is coming down."
The truck driver was seriously injured, but police don't know what he was doing.
