SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Utah's web-based marketplace for health insurance is expanding to some large employers.
The health insurance website is intended to foster competition and reduce consumer costs by offering more choices on buying insurance plans.
The Utah Health Exchange was launched in August to small employers with little success, although legislative leaders think they've found a way to improve it and reduce costs.
On Thursday, a pilot program for large employers was launched including Zions Bank and the city of Spanish Fork.
