(KSL News) -- A five-year old girl is in state custody this afternoon after police found her living in a van full of drug paraphernalia.

Her parents, Ashley Davey and Jason Mattson face charges of child endangerment and drug paraphernalia possession.

South Salt Lake police got a tip about the couple living in a trailer park. Inside their van, officers found a bag of almost 100 syringes, three of them full of heroin.

Davey and Mattson were booked into the Salt Lake County jail on outstanding warrants.
