SALT LAKE CITY (KSL News Services) -- The mystery surrounding the decade old disappearance of a Spanish Fork girl took a new twist this morning inside the federal courthouse.
New revelations about what may have happened to 15-year-old Kiplyn Davis came out during a court hearing for a man accused of lying to the FBI. It could mean police are close to catching the girl's killer.
Federal prosecutors announced Garry Blackmore talked to someone about helping to hide a body and believe there’s a cover-up in the murder. The U-S Attorney's office says more indictments will be coming in the next few weeks.
Kiplyn’s father, Richard Davis, tells KSL NewsRadio he believes Kiplyn left school ten years ago, maybe for a joyride with some people. He thinks she was raped and murdered.
”These people were all kids back in them days and I think they all thought adults were the enemy. That’s what I feel. No we're not, we’re not and I think it just got out of hand and if they’d come forward, this would have been over a long time ago,” says Davis.
