(KSL News) -- A car crashed into a power pole just before six this morning.
It happened at the intersection of 2100 S. 5600 West in West Valley City.
The crash triggered a domino effect. Four power lines actually fell down in the intersection.
Crews spent the morning cleaning it up. The intersection re-opened around 10:30.
Meanwhile, 500 S. Redwood Road in Bountiful is still closed because of downed power lines.
Power outages around the valley have affected more than 4500 homes, most of them in the early morning hours.
The area hit hardest: Olympus Cove, where customers lost power from seven last night until two in the morning.
