PROVO (KSL News Services) -- They’re coming in droves. Education Week begins this week at Brigham Young University in Provo. Twenty thousand people are expected to arrive in Utah County this week alone.

Gloria Bartle and her husband drove 650 miles from California to attend the weeklong education conference. They have joined dozens of R-V owners and campers in parking lot west of the Wilkinson Center. BYU has been very good to us. The let us park here as long as we draw camp and we come here and can sleep in own bed and enjoy all the festivities.”

They say they have no strategy when attending Education Week. “There’s no strategy, it’s first come first serve. We were on a trip and we kinda got here a day early but they were very kind and nobody said anything so we were able to park anywhere we wanted.”

The Bartles have made the trip from California for the past seven years to attend the annual event. More than one thousand classes will be offered during the week.
