SALT LAKE CITY -- Two powerhouse organizations have teamed up to help those without food, water or clothes in Haiti. The first shipment of aid arrived in a Utah warehouse Wednesday.
Globus Relief and Utah Haiti Relief are working together now to distribute humanitarian aid to residents of Haiti.

Donations from Utah Haiti Relief have been pouring into the Globus Relief Warehouse, ready to be sent overseas.
Globus Relief specializes in medical supplies, so taking on food and water is a bit new for them, but they are eager to help.
Utah Haiti Relief is a project organized by a St. George businessman who has seen firsthand the destruction of the earthquake.
This is the first of many loads of aid the two organizations will be sending.
Rob Cunningham of Globus Relief said, "Obviously we have a lot of water, food, clothing, so far. A lot of people donated bags of clothing, some new some used."
There's also baby formula, diapers and nutritional drinks.

Globus Relief is one of the highest-rated charities in the country, according to Charity Navigator.
They partner with other charities, corporations and even the government to deliver health care throughout the world.
Once they receive donations, they sort, package and distribute the supplies to the different contacts around the world where the supplies are needed.
Once rebuilding starts in Haiti -- specifically hospitals -- Globus Relief will really kick in sending off medical supplies.
