WOODS CROSS, Utah (AP) -- Officials at the Silver Eagle refinery have delayed the restart of its crude oil refining unit.
Plant officials had planned to restart the unit on Sunday. The plant has been shut down after an explosion Nov. 4.
Spokeswoman Cindy Gubler says plant officials are still going over checklists and safety protocols for the crude oil unit. She says a new target date for restarting it hasn't been announced.
The November explosion damaged equipment and several homes in the area but caused no injuries. Company officials accepted a recommendation from investigators to shut down the refinery until it was deemed safe to reopen.
