CEDAR CITY -- A former Cedar City attorney who admitted he took settlement money from his clients learned his fate Friday.
Matthew Graff will serve two concurrent and one consecutive term of 1 to 15 years in prison for unlawful dealing of property and communications fraud.
Graff was representing family of two people killed in a plane crash near Moab in 2008. He admitted to depositing their settlement checks into his firm's bank account, and then spending over $800,000 of the money.
