(KSL News) Residents in a Salt Lake Valley neighborhood are having some flooding problems.
At least seven homes, maybe as many as nine, have some flooding tonight.
Jill McPhie: "In my case, it's coming up through the cement stairwell in the backyard and fills that up so it goes into the house into bedrooms, bathroom, family room."
The residents of the neighborhood blame a canal that runs through the area. They say that whenever the water level in the canal is high they have the same problem.
They tend to have problems around the same time every year.
