SALT LAKE CITY -- The Salt Lake Board of Realtors believes the local housing market is finally on the rebound.
The board's 2010 forecast, released Tuesday, predicts as many as 10,000 homes could be sold in Salt Lake County this year.
If that happens, it would build on a 3 percent increase in home sales in 2009. But it's still a far cry from more than 15,000 home sales per year before the recession hit.
