(Salt Lake City) -- The new president at Snow College says he wants a new sports stadium for the school. Mike Benson says the old stadium is too small and is falling apart. He thinks it will cost about three (M)million dollars for the a new sports complex at the Ephraim school.
The state is in a financial bind, so Benson says he wants to secure some funding from other sources before he asks the Legislature for money.
Benson has already shown he knows how to raise money for the school. In his first year on the job, he brought in five (M)million dollars.
The three-thousand seat stadium is described as "nothing fancy" by school officials. It would be built a couple blocks north of campus in the small central Utah town.
