(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Questar Gas is raising its rates by more than three percent. The rate hike was approved by the Utah Public Service Commission and took effect yesterday.
The company estimates that the increase will mean typical residential customers will pay about two dollars more on their monthly utility bills.
Questar says it needs the rate hike to keep pace with record customer growth.
