ZION NATIONAL PARK, Utah (AP) -- A woman found dead at the base of Scout Lookout in Zion National Park has been identified as Dorothy Kaiser, 66, Joshua Tree, Calif.

Chief Washington County sheriff's Deputy Rob Tersigni said Wednesday that Kaiser fell about 900 feet from Scout Lookout.

"There were no witnesses and no one observed the fall," Tersigni said. "Kaiser was alone so at this point, it is only speculation on how she fell and there is no indication of what caused the fall."

Kaiser was a guest at Zion Lodge and was reported missing after her belongings were found in her room after her scheduled departure time. Her body was found Tuesday.
