(Salt Lake City-- KSL TV) A 3-year-old girl stabbed to death in Mesquite still has not been laid to rest.
The Las Vegas Journal review reports that Kristyanna Cowan was scheduled to be buried yesterday, but an ongoing battle between her parents has delayed the funeral.
Cowan's mother was supposed to release the body on Saturday but refused to do so because of an argument over what the child would wear.
Kristyanna Cowan was murdered last month by knife-wielding assailants in a Mesquite trailer park.
Her sister Brittney was paralyzed in the attack.
