(Provo-AP) -- A former Secret Service agent, who along with other two other agents held a boisterous off-duty party before the Olympics, has been fined for disorderly conduct and ordered to perform community service.
D. Todd Cranor, the only agent charged in the February first, 2002, incident, pleaded guilty through his attorney yesterday in Provo.
The Hoover, Alabama, man was fined 250 dollars and ordered to perform 30 hours of community service.
Cranor resigned from the Secret Service last year.
Secret Service spokesman Marc Connolly declined to comment on the case.
The party was at Provo's Western Inn, which police said involved drinking by college women too young to have alcohol.
Former manager Casey Clements said that when he asked the revelers to quiet down, one of the agents pushed him against a wall told him that if complained again -- quote -- "he would throw me to the ground, put his gun to my head and I would be sorry."
