(Cedar City-AP) -- Cedar City has a new and bigger hospital. The Valley View Medical Center on Main Street is nearly twice the size of the old hospital, about three miles away.

At 32 (M)million dollars, it has five operating rooms, specialty units and emergency rooms. Among other services, Valley View doctors now say they'll be able to care for premature babies -- rather than having to send them elsewhere.

One resident who took a tour this week was so impressed, he said he can't wait to get sick.

The official ribbon-cutting for the Intermountain Health Care facility is this evening.
