West Valley City police have released the names of the people involved in yesterday's double homicide.

Officers have arrested 38 year old Brian Sullivan for the murder of his wife, 34 year old La Rae Sullivan, and the couple's toddler daughter.

Police were alerted to the crime by a family member.

Apparently Brian Sullivan called that person and confessed, then went to Valley Mental Health where he called authorities himself.

After receiving the first call, officers went to this home and found woman and child dead.

The cause of death has not been released.
