(West Valley City-- KSL TV) A violent weekend in Salt Lake County leaves six people dead. The deaths are the result of two murder-suicides and one man killing his wife and child.

Kimberly Houk reports from West Valley City.

Police were called to a duplex located at 33rd West and Tess Avenue last night after receiving a 911 call from a neighbor.

They arrived to find a man and woman-- identified as 34-year-old Tyson Sealy and 33-year-old Tammy Sealy-- dead in the front room.

Police say Tyson shot his wife then turned the gun on himself. Tammy Seely's two teenage daughters and the couple's four-year-old child were all home at the time.

Captain Craig Black of the West Valley City police department explains, "We have an estranged husband and wife that had been arguing for some time before it turned deadly."

Officials say the Sealys were recently separated and planned to meet yesterday to talk about their relationship. They argued for an hour, when police say Tyson Sealy drew a gun and shot his wife.

The Sealy's have a history of domestic violence. Police were called here in October on a threats call.

Magna Murder-Suicide

On Saturday morning, a couple in Magna was found dead as the result of another murder suicide.

Salt Lake County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to the home after a woman called 911 asking for help. They arrived to find two people struggling outside the home and then they heard gunshots.

Police ducked behind their patrol cars, and when they got up they saw 58 year old Uriel Treto-Luna dragging 51 year old Maryann Martinez's dead body behind the house.

Out of view, Treto-Luna turned the gun on himself. Treto-Luna was the victim's former live in boyfriend.

A 15 year old girl -- believed to be Martinez's daughter -- was found sleeping inside the home. She is now staying with relatives.

West Valley City Double Homicide

Friday morning, another double homicide in West Valley City.

Brian Sullivan, 38, was arrested after authorities found the bodies of his wife, 34 year old La Rae Sullivan, and the couple's child.

Police were alerted to the crime by a family member. Apparently Brian Sullivan called that person and confessed, then went to Valley Mental Health where he called authorities himself.

After receiving the first call, officers went to the home and found the woman and child dead. The cause of death has not been released.

That's six murders this weekend in Salt Lake County, four of which were the result of domestic violence.

According to this morning's Salt Lake Tribune, the recent murders bring the total number of domestic murders in Utah this year to eight.
