(S. Salt Lake- KSL TV) South Salt Lake Mayor Wes Losser spent yesterday cleaning up after a fire all but destroyed his home.

Investigators say that a faulty outlet is to blame for the blaze, which caused more than $200,000 worth of damage.

No one was in the house at the time of the fire. The last of the family had left 15 minutes before a neighbor noticed the flames. The Losser family lost practically everything in their home, but they are just glad to be alive.

Kathleen Losser says, "Everyone's in good spirits, realizing that there's a lot of worse things that could have happened. There is nothing that can't be replaced. We have each other. We're okay."

The Lossers do have a place to stay while they decide whether to rebuild the home. They own the house next door.
