News Specialist Stacey Butler reporting(Bountiful, KSL News) -- Police are investigating a robbery that happened Wednesday morning in Bountiful.

Four armed men with black hooded jackets and facemasks walked into Horizon Credit Union, located at 105 South 500 West in Bountiful, at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, demanding money.

They immediately became violent, pushing customers to the ground, and demanding money from the tellers.

"They were very loud, very vocal," said George Doherty, an FBI agent, "They were putting hands on people, forcing them to the ground."

Police say they took off in a stolen car and abandonded it a few blocks away with the engine still running and all four doors open. The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Now agents suspect the same suspects used the same techniques to knock off other banks in Sandy, Murray and Salt Lake City.

"They are slowly escalating the way they are preforming these bank robberies," Doherty continued, "and we are just trying to find these guys as quickly as possible before they end up hurting someone."

Police believe that the same bank robbers held up the same Horizon Credit Union on January 10th.

At this hour, the suspects are still on the run. Officials consider them armed and dangerous.

If you have any information you are asked to contact the Salt Lake City FBI.
