(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Sentencing is scheduled for today in the case of a couple convicted of killing a Salt Lake City woman and dumping her body in the Jordan River.
A jury convicted reputed triggerman Darius Malaga of murder, kidnapping and robbery. Silia Olive, who participated in the deadly plot, was convicted of murder and kidnapping as well.
Prosecutors say the killing stemmed from a dispute between rival drug dealers last spring.
Barring any last minute delays, the two should be sentenced this afternoon and could get life in prison.
