(KSL TV) A 26 year old man was shot in the back just before midnight at the Regency Trailer Park at 3200 W. 2800 South in West Valley.

Police are still investigating and do not have any suspects at this time.

A vehicle was seen leaving the scene of the incident but police do not have a very good description of it. Two other individuals were at the residence at the time of the shooting, but they're telling police they didn't see anything.

Sgt. William Frolich, West Valley Police Dept.: "IT'S TOO EARLY TO TELL WHETHER IT WAS GANG RELATED. WE JUST DON'T HAVE ENOUGH INFO AND OUR INVESTIGATORS ARE FOLLOWING UP. I WOULD ANTICIPATE THAT SHORTLY WE'LL HAVE MORE INFORMATION."

The victim was air lifted to the hospital where he remains in stable condition.
