(Kearns-AP/KSL TV) -- A toddler from Kearns was killed yesterday when his mother accidentally backed her car over him in the driveway of the family home.
Rescue crews say the child's mother was backing out of her driveway on her way to the store last night when the four-year-old boy decided he wanted to go along, and ran out after her.
The woman didn't see him, and backed over him.
The child was taken to Primary Children's Medical Center where he died a short time later.
The accident on Mildred Street happened around six p.m. last evening. The boy died after being airlifted to Primary Children's Hospital.
