RIVERTON -- Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who robbed the Jordan Credit Union at 2522 W. 12600 South Wednesday evening.

This man was carrying a suspicious box. He set it on the counter and told the teller there was an "explosive device" inside. He also had a gun.

The teller gave him some money, and he fled on foot.

Deputies responded to the credit union and X-rayed the box to make sure it was safe. It turned out there was nothing inside.

Deputies detained a man on scene, but so far have yet to make an arrest.
