(Undated-AP) -- Utah's campgrounds are getting some recognition. A recent ranking of the nation's 100 top family campgrounds has seven Utah campgrounds.

The ReserveAmerica listing says five of Utah's state parks are prime places to pitch a tent. They include Green River, Fremont Indian, Escalante, Kodachrome Basin and Otter Creek state parks. Anderson Cove at Pineview Reservoir and Mustang Ridge at Flaming Gorge Reservoir also made the list.

Sixteen states around the nation had campgrounds on the list. Idaho had the most, with 12. More than 2,500 parks were reviewed before the top 100 were chosen.
