(KSL TV) West Valley police are investigating a car- to- car shooting that happened last night.
A white mini van was hit multiple times with gunfire; the driver was also hit, and was sent to the hospital.
Police officers say two adults and a child were inside. They had just left the Valley Fair Mall, when a dark colored SUV pulled up beside them. That's when the gunfire started.
Investigators aren't sure what prompted the shooting. Those in the van say they did not know who was inside the SUV.
