(Undated-AP) -- The annual U-S News and World Report rankings for graduate schools are out, and some Utah schools have gained ground.

The University of Utah's school of medicine rose seven places to number 40 on the list of the top 50 schools. The University of Utah law school also came in at number 40.

And for the fifth year in a row, Utah State University did well with its college of education. It ranked at number 49 out of the top 50.

B-Y-U made the rankings as well. The Marriot School of Management came in at number 29, while the B-Y-U law school moved from number 37 last year to 31st on this year's list.
