This is Lane Beattie, president of the Salt Lake Chamber, with your Metro Business Report…
You've probably heard the saying before that small business is the lifeblood of the economy—and it's true! The success of small business is critical to the strength of the economy—particularly here in Utah.
The Salt Lake Chamber has presented the small business awards for over two decades, recognizing small businesses for their continued growth, innovation and community involvement. These awards will be presented at the Salt Lake Chamber Annual Meeting in February.
Winners will be honored in four categories including Community Service, Entrepreneurial Success, Minority Small Business and Small Business of the Year.
The deadline for nominations is Friday so don't delay! If your business, or a business you've worked with, should be considered for the award, make a nomination at slchamber.com.
And don't forget to pick up your wristband passes for EVE.
EVE is Salt Lake's newest headline event: three days and three nights, ten locations and hundreds of performances and activities. For more information go to eveslc.com.
