(KSL TV) A new initiative by UHP troopers to crack down on alcohol- related accidents sheds some disturbing light on just how many drunk drivers are sometimes on Utah's roads.
About 38 troopers hit the streets last night, looking for drivers under the influence.
In a four and a half hour period, they stopped 320 cars. Just over 10 percent of those drivers stopped, 37 to be exact, were arrested for dui.
Thirty-three others were arrested for illegal drugs.
