(Salt Lake City-AP) -- In its ongoing effort to revitalize Main Street, Salt Lake City has awarded six 20-thousand dollar grants to businesses that plan to open up downtown.
Three new restaurants got the grants. They are David Chase Cafe, Curry in a Hurry and Gunsay Baking Company. Big City Soup, which already opened its doors, got a grant as well. Another grant went to the City Weekly newspaper, which will move its offices to Main Street. A cellphone store got the other grant.
