(Orem-AP) -- Mickey Salisbury is recovering from severe acute respiratory syndrome, the mystery illness that killed his Utah father on April ninth.

Yet six-year-old Mickey doesn't know that his father, James Salisbury, is dead.

Jiahui Salisbury, the child's mother, says she hasn't been able to tell him that his 51-year-old father died.

James Salisbury loved China enough that he was thinking of moving Jiahui Salisbury and their five-year-old triplets there.

Mickey remains under quarantine and under the care of authorities from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hong Kong.

The boy has a mild diffusion in his left lung, but other symptoms have subsided.

Jiahui Salisbury hasn't decided whether she's going to fly to Hong Kong to escort her son home or allow Mormon church leaders to arrange an escort.
