A dear friend and guest on the KSL noon show has passed away.

After years of ill health, Sharon Kofford died Sunday.

Sharon spent eleven years with KSL News at Noon sharing her talent for cooking.

She was famous for her chocolate chip cookies and filled our studios with good smells and tastes.

She leaves behind a husband, six children and 17 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Sharon Kofford will be noon Thursday at the LDS chapel at 3900 South and 2000 East.
