(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Money taken from Salt Lake Community College after an audit concluded it had been misapplied will go to the Salt Lake-Tooele Applied Technology College.
The audit concluded that more than 158 thousand dollars that was restricted for Custom Fit programs had been used for other programs at S-L-C-C.
The Utah College of Applied Technology board of directors redirected the money to the Salt Lake-Tooele Applied Technology College last week.
The board determined that the money withheld from S-L-C-C was new money in its budget and it acted on a legislative determination that any new money that came to the applied technology system this year should go to the Salt Lake-Tooele unit.
