(KSL News) We have new information this morning about the Trolley Square shooter.

Sulejman Talovic legally acquired the shotgun he used in the shooting.

A source close to the investigation told The Salt Lake Tribune the gun was purchased from a local sporting goods store but declined to give the name. The source did not say if someone purchased the gun for Talovic, but at this point no one is suspected of unlawfully helping him get the gun.

Detectives are still trying determine where he got the pistol used in the shooting.
