(St. George-AP) -- There's some new leadership at Dixie State College in St. George.
School officials announced that Joe Peterson will become acting vice president of academics. He replaces Max Rose, who retired.
Peterson is currently the college dean of arts, letters and science. He's serve in the new post until fall of 2004. By then, Dixie officials expect to have found a permanent vice president.
