(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Salt Lake County has started termination proceedings against two executives of its Fine Arts Division.
The action follows an investigation that concluded that sloppy accounting practices could require a one (M)million dollars fix.
The two executives, division Director Marian Iwasaki and fiscal analyst Carol Martin-Mahoney, previously were demoted and both have filed grievances.
They are on paid leave while awaiting formal hearings before department director Leslie Reberg.
