WOODS CROSS -- A man is in jail charged with stabbing his friend.
Woods Cross police say Christopher Bloore started fighting with a man inside the bedroom of a mobile home near 1200 West and 500 South.
Police aren't sure of a motive yet, but say Bloore grabbed a knife and stabbed his friend in the face and stomach several times.
SWAT teams contained the suspect to a trailer and tried to negotiate him out. But negotiations broke down after several hours, so SWAT fired gas canisters inside, forcing the suspect outside, where he was taken into custody.

The victim's girlfriend and her daughter were also inside at the time but escaped safely.
Bloore's friend remains in the hospital in critical condition.
